None of this has anything to do with the flu shot, and Jenny McCarthy
doesn't know what actually caused whatever to happen to her child.

Granted, nobody knows what causes autism. However, there are clues
that mercury has something to do with it. Mercury, after all, is a
neurotoxin that will screw someone up real bad if it's given to them.
It is a scientifically proven fact, see below:
http://www.epa.gov/mercury/health.htm
Even that webiste says what I have copied below. I would think that if
the flu shot were _that_ dangerous with regard to mercury that they
would've specifically stated it. Now, I am not saying that it is not but
I just would think that all over the pages I didn't see it mentioned.
"The most common way people are exposed to any form of mercury is by
eating fish containing methylmercury. Other exposures include breaking
products containing elemental mercury and using compounds that contain
mercury."
"For fetuses, infants, and children, the primary health effect of
methylmercury is impaired neurological development. Methylmercury
exposure in the womb, which can result from a mother's consumption of
fish and shellfish that contain methylmercury, can adversely affect a
baby's growing brain and nervous system. "
That was my reasoning in thinking I wouldn't take it if pregnant and
would instead just put into practice the same avoidance measures I
always have ---if they recommend you don't eat certain fish when
pregnant or nursing due to mercury, then why on earth would they
purposely inject you with it? Just my thoughts on it.
