I sure said that wrong. I should have said "kids who have horses don't
get in trouble *as often* as other kids. Of course people are people

I know what you mean. One of my theories on child-raising is that every child needs a passion in life to focus on, especially before they hit age 13, or they will drift and end up having passions for things that are not as beneficial. My children got through with passions for fencing, books, home and car repair and improvement, and martial arts, in that order.

I like that theory. My older son has a passion for video games, learning, singing, etc. My younger one has a passion for art and anything creative. :) So little-guy-on-the-way I'm sure will have a passion he can call his own too. :)
