I don't know why I thought Vancouver was close. I guess from this distance,
it just seems that way! Yes, my friend has told me that she lives very near
where they catch the ferry to go to Canada.

Yes, I think you're right. I think Port Angeles is just across from
Canada. There is a short ferry ride to take that we took once (neat view)
and neat drive back that way from Canada and down from PA! Pretty area!

Me and my family came thru OK...the wind here in Vancouver wasn't so
bad (35mph or so), but the rain was coming down like it was the end of
the world. (Noah's ark anyone?). The field out back got flooded out,
but our house and the park we live in did not, and the creek out in
back of our house was high, but didn't flood its banks. Was soooo glad
when the dry weather moved in. That field is still flooded by the way.
