car dealership funny

I am totally amused by this so I thought I would share. We are
considering getting me a new truck. I have an SUV now but now that we
have three horses I am considering getting a four-door truck. I was
browsing online at the websites for a few of our local car dealerships. I
found one in particular had a 2008 truck listed as "internet price of
49.00". I read the whole ad and knew there was no way a 30+ thousand
dollar truck was being sold for 49.00. Being silly, I clicked on the
"ask a question about this vehicle" link. I asked "is this truck still
available at the advertised price?". I figured they would get a giggle
and correct their mistake. That was Wednesday. On the evening of the
29th, 11 minutes before the dealership closed I got a response. To my
surprise, the vehicle in fact, WAS still available at the advertised
price and the "inter-net" sale guy was more than eager for me to contact
him Monday to take it for a test drive. While his email was just FULL of
spelling errors, all caps, etc. I still got a big laugh. Obviously he
did not read the original email or click the link to the car I provided
in it or he would have seen his pricing mistake. I went to their website
today and saw the ad had been modified. The truck is now listed as
white, where no color was listed before but it still has an internet
price of 49.00. Being silly, I once again provided him with a link to
the vehicle advertisement, copied the text of the advertisement into my
email and told him I would bring a check for the advertised price, tax,
tags and 189.50 "acquisition fee" Monday before they closed. My response
was that he would be happy to assist me with my sale and to ask for him
when I got there. <sigh> I have half a mind to go there after I get
back in town from DH's uncles funeral, armed with copies of the website
ad and his emails and tell him I want to pick up my truck.
