I consider myself a Christian. But I'm not perfect. And if you don't like me
because I am, that's not my problem. If I don't live up to your standards
and would call me a "bad" Christian because of something that I have said or
done, that saddens me that you would think that, and that I have been a bad
example, but it really doesn't matter what you think. I do my best, and when
I know better I do better. That's all I can do.

This is what is so wonderful about religion. Not good enough to be one
of the faithful; if you don't like the person, you can point out how far
short of the ideal they fall. As if your god doesn't love you all
equally. Makes me happy to be sitting with the damned.
