I consider myself a Christian. But I'm not perfect. And if you don't like
me because I am, that's not my problem. If I don't live up to your
standards and would call me a "bad" Christian because of something that I
have said or done, that saddens me that you would think that, and that I
have been a bad example, but it really doesn't matter what you think. I do
my best, and when I know better I do better. That's all I can do.

This is what is so wonderful about religion. Not good enough to be one
of the faithful; if you don't like the person, you can point out how far
short of the ideal they fall. As if your god doesn't love you all
