Controversial medical cases

Does anyone remember a medical case a while ago where a wife was in a coma
and I think the husband wanted to pull her off life support and grant his
wife's wishes and the family didn't want him to and it ended up going to
court. Does that ring any bells with anyone?

While I am on the subject, does anyone know of any other controversial
medical cases that would be interesting? This is a project that I am working
on for a class that I am taking. TIA
