I know, Jeannie, it has been very quiet in here lately.
My work load varies, but that gives me some days off, too. I lost one
of my horses in November, which was very hard. I'd been planning a trip
to Virginia with DH, and he volunteered to stay home and horse sit my
other horse. I went alone to VA with my dog for company and protection.
Spent a little over a week at our house there. My folks had come up from
NC to go to my daughter's for Thanksgiving, so I got to spend a few days
with them before they went back. Then I went up to my daughter and
son-in-law's new house in the Manassas area and spent a couple of days
with them. Shortly after I got back, things came together overnight and
I picked up a new horse (FREE). She's a Paso/Morgan mix named Dona
Barbara - a real pistol under saddle but seems to be pretty together
mentally.
We've had SO MUCH SNOW. Thank goodness for cleats I can strap onto my
boots. It's been pretty cold too.
Next?
