Still typing, though not as much. Yes, I know I'm supposed to say "transcribing," but I just can't. I feel like the clerical equivalent of a graveyard gas station attendant. I type. That's what I do.

Still stitching and preparing for the online needlework show in April. I'm hoping that in a couple of years, Effervescent Designs starts paying for itself at the very least.

One of my favorite fiber manufacturers went out of business, so I have to revise all the patterns that used them.

Started writing again in August (after a ten-year hiatus caused by endless near-miss rejections--"Please overnight me the manuscript...ah, yeah, I'm sorry; it didn't quite pass the editorial board" x3 AND a serious case of trying to untangle a plot I'd tangled badly).

Now I'm in the process (again) of trying to get published. It's long and fraught with waiting. Hurry up and wait. Hurry up and wait. No simultaneous submissions, so... "Why yes, I'll keep your manuscript for six months and if I find out you submitted it anywhere else in that time, woe is you."

The Girl goes to a pre-kindergarten program in June for a month, then kindergarten in August.

The Boy just broke his third (fourth? can't remember) pair of glasses.

The Husband had lap band surgery and is doing well.

Me? I'm still crazy as a loon.
