I think it would be difficult, if not impossible, to totally seal our
borders, but more effort could be made. But if there were no jobs here, if
we severely penalized the people who hire them, if we refuse to accept
children in school without proper identification, if we give only absolute
emergency care and then make an effort to find out where they were working
it would make a very strong incentive for many to leave. We are being taxed
out of our homes here in South Florida and illegal immigrants in this area
are a huge influence on our tax base.

My feeling is that it's simply not physically possible to remove these
people from the country, and they won't leave on their own. I don't
think political correctness has much to do with. You guys keep saying
that we should be able to seal the borders, but it's a big country with
a lot of border, and the political will to do what you want simply does
not exist.
