My comments were about a man who didn't have the strength of
character to
stand alone in his shame. She obviously did decide to stand
beside him; I
just think ANY woman who does that is portraying herself to be
a person with
no respect for herself or her family, standing their like a
waif wanting the
world to see how strong she is that she'll appear in public to
be publically
humiliated . . . to me that isn't strong, it is stupid. I made
no comment
about her marriage or her motives.

Could be that she and her cheating husband cut some kind of a
special deal. (Remember the big ol' $4 million ring Kobe Bryant
gave his wife after he messed up?)

Regardless of what they worked out, you can bet *something* is
offered in those kinds of circumstances, and I'm betting it's
mighty expensive for the cheating husbands--in more ways than
one.

(Not saying a solution like that would work for me because it
wouldn't. I'd be in divorce court so fast it would make the
guy's head swim--and I'd be sure to take my pound of flesh in the
courts and alimony. I have relatives, however, who are the
stand-by-your-man type. It takes all kinds.)
