So every police department in the entire country stops cars with black
people in it just for the hell of it? ?There is still prejudice in this

If you haven't had something like this happen to you, I guess you
can't imagine it. �Why would it matter how many police departments
this is happening in? If you are a black person and it happens to you
repeatedly, if you see that look of fear in a white person's eyes that
makes them cross the street simply because they see you on a dark
street at night, you probably aren't wondering how many other black
people are getting that same treatment at that moment, because it's
happening to you, right then. �As a white person, I'm not about to
minimize these kinds of experiences for black people or tell them they
simply should get over it.

I hold my purse dear to me in the grocery store because I've seen a
white person snatch the purse of an Asian woman right out of her cart,
and her little girl was standing there hanging onto the buggy. lol.
I'm generally not scared of women in general at night walking alone,
but I am of all men. Sorry if that hurts a certain person of any
certain race's feelings. lol. When in Florida last year, I had my
windows down sitting in the car with the kids talking to my mom and
dad in the next car with their windows down......some strange man
popped his head just barely inside the passenger-side window and
yelled something, which was behind me since I was looking out my
window, and I about loaded my pants. I immediately hit the button to
roll up the window and he looked shocked. It was one of those times
where whatever it was the person said to you takes a minute to
register. He had commented on the fact that we were from Michigan, but
in a loud way, and couldn't have been friendlier. I can't even imagine
the look on my face, and THAT set me to giggling hard for a long time.
I imagine had that man been black, Cuban, or whatever, he would have
been completely insulted at my knee-jerk reaction. I even told the
guy, "You don't do that to a woman sitting in a car with 3 small
children in it!" lol.
