word help, please

Pt. with ORIF patella 5 days ago. He comments she had a little bit of very
clearly "ruboro" UNDERLYING" the patella.
I know what rubor is, but would you be able to see it "underlying" the
patella? And he DEFINITELY says "ruboro" which I cannot find in any of my
word sources.
