Maybe you need to attend or teach in a poorly-funded inner city school
with high number of minority students in order to understand the
roadblocks black people still encounter in many parts of this country.
If you start out with a crappy education, it's very hard to get a leg up
in life.

But see, I went to some of those schools in Detroit, and I learned
what the teacher taught me. We had some groups of police come in and
play in a band called the PIGS for us. I was a huge fan! lol. As a
student, you may not have access to computers or band instruments in a
poorly funded school, but you do have access to a teacher who is
supposed to be doing their job and it is up to the students to choose
to learn or to not to.
