Well, it's actually false. Obama's father was not a Muslim (he had
left the religion) before he married, Obama's mother did not convert,
and since his father gave up all claims to him, under Islam's own
rules, it means that Obama was *never* a Muslim.

It's just another example of the intellectually shoddy reasoning used
by some commentators.
