Barb, what's bothering me is both party candidates, Senators McCain
and Obama, have said they want to run a civil campaign, which means
sticking to issues without personal attacks. From what I'm seeing
lately, they are discussing Iraq in a verbal slugfest type of way, and
I suppose that is progress.

What have they to say, though, about the economy? I haven't caught any
sound bites of importance about that. The cost of oil dropped today
to $123 a barrel, but will that help at the pump? It could be worse, I
guess, since I heard in England they are having to pay around $9 a
gallon.

Still, I'd rather my money go for cat food rather than gas, and right
now Blue Satyr's tank is only half full.
