Ubuntu? What is that, Bob? I've never even heard of it. The idea of
Linnux intriques me, but I'm not sure my DOS-based software would all
run on it.

Unbuntu is a version of Linux. Your DOS-based software will only run on
DOS or Windows. However, there is a free product for Linux called
"Wine" that emulates Windows. There is a possibility that your DOS-
based software would run using Wine.
