I installed it the day it was released. I have this impulsive
self-destructive streak when it comes to software that I haven't figured out
yet:).

I did spend about an hour researching the Internet to see if there had been
any major problems reported before I dove in.

Anyway, I didn't notice any increase in speed either, but I also haven't had
any issues or problems with it.
