I gave up so much so long ago when I quit my systems analyst job to stay home to raise children (which cut our income by about two-thirds) that I can't remember any more what I gave up and what is just a normal part of my life. I try to procrastinate on buying anything as long as I can, and some things I have been procrastinating on for years and am still doing fine without them.
