California has just taken away another freedom from those eating in their
state. They are outlawing transfats. Not suggesting you shouldn't eat
them, not warning of their dangers, not giving you the choice of eating them
or something else, but actually outlawing a food product, removing your
freedom of choice.

Those who agree transfats are bad for us might not see the loss of freedom,
as those who have never been investigated by the government don't see the
Patriot Act as the loss of freedom. I don't think transfats rise the level
of terrorism though.

When I mention damaging the Constitution and Bill of Rights, what's in my
head is the Patriot Act. I can't believe that we just willingly handed
our rights over to the government. The founding fathers of this country
must be spinning in their graves.
