Promises! Promises!
I'm listening to Senator Obama making promises if he is elected
President. If only!
As a person on Social Security and making less than $50,000 a year,
I'd really like to have to pay no taxes.
The promise of $1,000 for every household to apply toward energy and
food would go a long way for me.
As I said, if only. I'm not counting, though, on any promise from
either candidate to come to fruition.
Do any of you remember any major broken promises? That is, other than
the infamous, "Read my lips, no new taxes."
