Thank you for the commiseration. I am so upset about this. I really need to
work. I was hoping to have this job for at least another couple of years
before I had to worry about VR, but I guess they decided to do this quicker
than I thought. Oy. Here's hoping I find a job soon.

Sue, I feel your pain. After 20 years transcribing radiology for a
large hospital, I went IC for the radiology department at our local
VA. It was the best job; great dictators, great pay, great everything
for one year - until they brought in VR in the form of Power Scribe
and dumped the MTs. That was 7 years ago and, although now retired, I
mourned my loss for years afterward. Keep your chin up. Someone as
experienced and talented as you will be snarfed up by a company that
will be lucky to have you.
