Well after 9 years of service to two large hospitals in California, I amHi Sue,
being eliminated due to voice recognition. They sprung it on us without
warning. Not a happy camper. Anyone need a radiology transcriptionist
with 18 years experience? I have typed other specialties, but not acute
care.

It happened to us, also, in the transcription dept. It is not VR, but
docs do their own reports.
I left just in time to get the eye doc job, and it is still tapes. It is a
small office-other docs went to India, and a few do regular tapes.
I have a friend who works for Spheris and likes it.
She did do x-ray for them, but then they went to VR and now she does other
accounts.
