Re: I'm a bit confused

((I've been confused about this. They're talking about making the
drugs that
fall in the "doughnut hole" half price, which I understand would help
to
ease the monthly financial strain for people on Medicare, but wouldn't
they
still end up paying the same amount out of pocket, just in twice as
much
time? And if so, how is this really doing anything to help them?))

Anne, from what Jan and Neal are saying, if they can stretch out their
out-of-pocket payments longer, they might not hit the yearly quota.

For example, if they hit the $2,700 in October, maybe paying the same
amount would end in January of the following year. Am I reading this
right, Neal or Jan?

I finally figured out my Kaiser 2008 EOB by going back to my VISA
charges for that year. I'd forgotten the $157.60 I paid in March for
inhalers to treat my periodic SOB. I've still got two of the four
inhalers untouched.
