Did you bother to read the report?

http://www.who.int/whr2001/2001/archives/2000/en/index.htm

The criteria used heavily weight how the health care system is
financed, not how well the health system provides care. It focuses on
gross health indicators such as life expectancy and infant mortality -
two indicators that disregard the influence of environment, lifestyle,
disease incidence, and other non-medical system characteristics.

In the US, IF you get sick, you have a better chance of survival than
in most other countries, including Canada and France.

The cancer incidence ratre in the US is hiogher than in both Canada
and France, and the cancer mortality rate is lower (per 100K
population). This means that there is better cancer care in the US.

If you need a heart bypass or angioplasty, you are more likely to get
it in the US.

Need an MRI? Wait in line if you are in France or Canada - not so in
the US. here are three times as many.

Need a CAT scan? Same thing.

Prove it.
