Perhaps RF may shed some light
32 yo Male good Physical condition.
No sig past med hx.
S/f injury onto his back onto a flight of steps....
Left knee pain.
Mild lumbar pain (scleratogenous)
O:
Sensation intact
reflexes slow/symmetrical
SLR neg bilaterally
Active Lumbar ROM WNL w/o sig pain
Drawer test negative
MRI scan left knee showed mild prepatellar scar tissue.
Heres where it gets interesting
Difuse atrophy in the distal quad
Left lower leg extension (seated) grades 4-/5
Left lower leg extension (when supine) 3-/5
So when he's on his back he loses almost all power in the left quad...
space occupying lesion? root entrapment? this is an odd one
I know he needs a scan on his low back...
