There is no single payer system run by the government here in the US. Puting
such a system in place doesn not change your statement which is correct for
the most part. Making it a government program makes it worse and not better.
You take away any accountability and place it in the lap of politicians.

Wait a minute, redistribute the wealth from the poor? LOL.
Gee, why not take all the wealthy, intellectual, doctors, educators and
anyone who wears glasses out of the city and into the rural farm lands and
make them work like the poor on the land. You can call your country Cambodia
