It is. And as pointed out, it's a sort of solar power, and probably a
better solution than the ethanol in gas-ahol.

In Canada, rapeseed has been genetically modified by a long breeding
program, to produce an oil with a lower erucic acid content, and is
sold as "Canola." We eat it the US as a Canadian import, under the
same name. Erucic acid is bad for rodents, but not clear if it's bad
for people. In any case, diesel engines don't care.
