Why would Jesus *and* God both tell me that my decision to pay for my
own sins fits God's plan? If I let another man pay for my sins though
I can pay for them myself, then I am not living up to the image of God
that God created me in. I respect your decision to take Christ's
offer, to let Him pay for your evil, and thereby to be saved by His
sacrifice, but I see that if I accept that same offer, then I am lost.
Jesus understands my decision. I don't expect you to understand, but
you could at least try.

I think God made just about the best universe there could be. As far
as I can tell, it is perfect. I assume that is what you mean by
praise. I also appreciate what Jesus did. Greater love hath no man. I
give thanks that I was born and live in this time, and I hope I can
honour God's gift of life by leaving His world a little better than it
was when I arrived. I guess I haven't managed to do that yet, but, God
willing, I will.

There are no barriers between me and God. I have no trouble opening up
my heart to God, Jesus, or anyone else. How could I have written this
if that were not so?
