If Mel Gibson thought he had a penitence to pay, it will have already
been paid with Christ's life. He has reaped for the work he has done
for His Lord and his family will continue to so so too.

It was for the love of you (his neighbour) that he risked his whole
life's reputation to hold a light high for your saviour. Forget his
sin and see your Lord's light, there is perfection there.
