    John's goal is to spread bull*** as widely as possible throughout the
    net.

    He is a scientific illiterate. He is also a loon. That means that
    any attempt to change his mind won't work (because he's a loon), and
    even if it could work, it wouldn't, since he won't understand what you
    write (because he's a scientific illiterate -- I think he has to take
    his shoes off to count above 10).
