Considering the crap some people take becauseit is "natural" or "herbal"
without any evidence that it is safe or effective, I do think we need
regulartory agencies to help safeguard our medications.
Plus, not all licensed drugs are that good. There are questions about the
statins used to lower the choelesterol, HRT (hormonal replacement therapy)
and other drugs used to prevent or treat illness.
Not having proper regulartion about the efficacy and quality of drugs is
inviting poor patient care.
