I'm a healthy 44-year-old nonsmoking male. Never had any major
medical issues in my life and I feel fine today.
Over a relatively short period earlier this year, I got a sudden
outbreak of what I'll call moles, but that's probably not the right
term.
They're little brown "projections" off my skin, maybe an eighth of an
inch in diameter, projecting out from my skin a quarter inch or so.
All are light brown in color (I'm caucasian) and symmetrically round
at their base.
I'd say I have roughly ten on my body, mostly on my back, back of my
neck, and upper chest. I have one on the skin over each collarbone,
at the end of the bone closest to my sternum.
I'm not concerned, other than the fact that I'd hugely prefer to have
smooth and unblemished skin, and that it seemed strange to me that
these things all seemed to spring up over the course of a few days or
weeks.
Any ideas about them?
