Flushing and palpitations are common with alchol consumption, and may
be more pronounced in persons deficient in an enzyme called aldehyde
dehydrogenase. These symptoms are not serious, however, and you'll have
to decide whether or not they're bothersome enough to dissuade you from
consuming alcohol altogether.
