oh! so I'm looking at about 14 days of this? Ok... At least this is brute
honesty and not beat-around-the-bush-let's-see-if-this-works-shall-we? type
stuff that I've been fed the last 4 days... So I suppose then that as long
as I keep going for the next 12 or 13 days (taking into consideration about
one or 2 extra days because of the minor setback due to lapse in time
between doses!) steadily and keep hammering at this medication.... hopefully
the flora in my throat will somehow stabilize and things will get back to
normal. I do agree that if I had something to dissolve in the mouth 5 times
vs. swish and swallow/gag 4 times a day, I think I'd feel so much better! I
just had no idea that thrush could be so horribly miserable! My youngest
had it when she was born and the docs and nurses encouraged me to continue
to nurse her until the thrush resolved itself. She only had it 2 days
though. But if that was anything like this.... it's no wonder that poor baby
cried so piteously those first few days of life! I'm just very cranky over
all this. =/
Now, another question, is it normal for my voice to become hoarse and raspy
and strained sounding from the thrush? or is that possibly from something
different? Thanks again!

It's a lot easier (and less > disgusting) than Nystatin swish and swallow. >
