I read that uv rays on your skin gives you vitamin D. So am I getting
that If you keep my window blinds open, through the glass? I thought most
new windows block UV rays. Which seems to contradict most web sites
relating to skin cancer. They tell you that you are still getting uv rays
through your window glass. Also, what about the glass windshield of a
car, does that have uv protection (since they are not usually tinted)? I
read one person on a newsgroup, mention that all glass blocks uv rays (that
is why only plastic lesses state they have uv protection). I know for a
fact that you can get a sun burn while driving in a car. If so, does sun
burn mean you are getting uv rays? Does all glass block uv rays or only
the newer types?
Thanks for your help.
