He would be given appropriate *emergency* treatment as required by US law.
In the scenario of a major heart attack, that would include angioplasty,
stents, etc - whatever it took to stabilize him. Most likely the hospital
would then try to claim Medicaid or whatever state aid was available to pay
for it, but he should definitely would receive the immediate treatment he
needed.
