I've been taking an antidepressant, Moclobemide, for over a year. My
partner began taking Prozac a month and a half ago.
Today I swallowed a reasonably large amount of his ejaculatory fluid.
Within 10 or 20 mins I began to feel ill - dizzy, faint and nauseous.
This has never happened after swallowing his semen in the past. Three
hours later I was feeling mostly better, just a bit nauseous and weak.
I know that Moclobemide and SSRIs can interact when taken orally. I
know it's a long shot, but is it possible that I ingested an amount of
my partner's Prozac (or its metabolites)? Has any research been done on
the excretion of SSRIs in semen?
