Re: For some reason, a few years ago, someone was pressing down on my
skin and commented on how slow it takes for the white around the area
touched to go away (it can take minutes), and said person compared his
skin and pressed down on it, and the white spot went away in about 1
second.

The way to check for dehydration: pinch [using your thumb &
fore-finger] the skin on the back of your hand. If your skin returns to
it's original position, you're not dehydrated. If your skin stays
pinched, you ARE dehydrated.
