This is an open question -

What is an open question?

Whether or nor parents who have had their babies circumcised are guilty of
child abuse.

### There are NO medical indications for a routine infant circumcision. It
is OBVIOUS child abuse - but parents are not guilty - too much cultural
pressure being exerted thanks to MD lies and MD perpetuation of the
practice. Again, MDs must be pardoned in advance for the reason above.
That's the only way out of it IMO.

#### A California court (the Calif. Supreme Court?) let the London case
stand. Years ago, NO CIRC President Marilyn Milos actually came out of her
NO CIRC office to tell my wife that *she* (my wife) was responsible for the
fact that there was not enough money to appeal the case!

##### Trudie London - a NO CIRC Board Member - was suing on behalf of her
son Adam London. She said on the Phil Donahue show that her doctor told her
that babies can't feel pain.

##### After I pointed it out to her, NO CIRC Pres. Milos studiously ignored
the fact that MDs used phony "babies can't feel pain" neurology - publicly
anyway. Privately, in Aug. 1987, she told me she would organize en masse
nurse reporting of the child abuse by January 1988. I called Milos in
February 1988, she said first that radiodoc Dean Edell, MD had told her it
wasn't time to report - then that reporting wouldn't do any good - then that
she didn't know of any circumcisions to report. When I told her she was
selling a VIDEO of a circumcision - she could report with that - she said
she wouldn't do that to the doctor. I replied: Do WHAT the doctor - I
thought you said reporting wouldn't do any good! (The dates might be
slightly off - my memory is fading.)

NO CIRC VOTED FOR CIRCUMCISION!

##### Trudie London and Marilyn Milos subsequently voted AGAINST a NO CIRC
resolution that called for NO CIRC nurses to do the MINIMUM required by law
and report suspected child abuse. (NO CIRC used to sell bumper stickers that
said: "Child Abuse Begins With Circumcision." I think NO CIRC switched to
calling it "genital abuse" after that.)

##### This just-mentioned resolution was authored by my wife who was making
her continued service on the NO CIRC board contingent on NO CIRC nurses
simply doing the minimum requiried by law - REPORTING suspected child abuse.

##### My wife knew what the outcome would be before NO CIRC voted: Before
voting on the resolution regarding my wife's continued service on the NO
CIRC board, Milos sent my wife a letter expressing regret that she was
leaving NO CIRC - LOL!

#### NO CIRC's London case was the medico-"legal" "just us" system
perpetuating mass child abuse: In California, it is legal for parents to
have their babies' penises ripped and sliced for no medical reason.

IS JAN TRITTEN THE MARILYN MILOS OF MIDWIFERY?

##### Just as Jan Tritten still has not - to my knowledge - publicly
retracted her promotion of birth-canal-closing/semisitting (after cancelling
my full-length article) - Marilyn Milos - to my knowledge - has yet to
publicly acknowledge that NO CIRC in effect VOTED for circumcision (see
above) - by voting down a NO CIRC resolution calling upon NO CIRC nurses to
do the minimum required by law to stop the mass ripping and slicing of
infant penises.

##### Interesting coincidence: Years later, as I worked with California
midwife Faith Gibson on homebirth midwifery issues, there was a female MD
doing homebirths - and she was a board member of NO CIRC. Small world....

#### I don't think Jan appreciated it. Jan has called me "hateful" for
publicly pointing out that she promoted semisitting/birth-canal-closing
after cancelling my full-length article on the subject years ago...The
just-cited Bravo Jan! post - I replaced the URL you snipped - discusses Jan
considering a press release to the effect that semisitting is dangerous...I
haven't heard from her since. I suspect some midwives do not want Jan
issuing such a press release because they have been aping MDs and closing
birth canals the "extra" up to 30% by using semisitting. I will cc Jan this
post.

What did you write about? Circumcision?

##### Yes, I wrote about the five Swedish physicians (Winberg et al.) -
fearing Wiswell's UTI-end-stage-renal-disease scare tactic - recommending
research into applying maternal fecal matter to infant penises (to colonize
with mom's friendly bacteria so hostile hospital strains don't colonize the
preputial niche.)

##### When California MDs abruptly declared newborn circumcision "an
effective public health measure" that prevents transmission of HIV/AIDS, I
studied Duesberg's hypothesis and was asked to write an article about that
for Midwifery Today.

##### My wife condensed my LONG letter to the Chief Rabbi of England into a
one page article about God's circumcision leaving most of the foreskin on
the penis. I drew the illustrations for that article. As you know, Carl, I
am in favor of a religious exemption from the child abuse statutes for the
ancient Jewish ritual that leaves most of the foreskin on the penis.

##### I was also asked to write the article on
semisitting/birth-canal-closing - and did so - but - as indicated above -
Jan cancelled the full-length version complete with sidebars - told me to
condense INTO a side-bar - so I told *Jan* to give it a whirl - her attempt
was atrocious so I forbade her from publishing it under my name. In the
next issue of Midwifery Today (the one my full-length article was supposed
to appear in) Jan promoted semisitting. Bizarre.

##### Carl, have *you* ever noted in writing - explicitly - that OBs are
closing birth canals up to 30% and routinely keeping birth canals closed
when babies get stuck - and lying about it?

##### Most childbirth educators say "Squatting opens" and leave it at that.

semisitting/birth-canal-closing behavior, there is no time like the present.

I couldn't believe my eyes years ago when AAP perpetuated the phony "babies
