Darren,
There is a product sold (probably next to the milk) or in any health food
store called Unsweetened Silk Soymilk (organic).Try it.
I suggest that you have your doctor test you for Asthma. If the doctor
says NO--ask your doctor to refer you to a specialist. The test is really
simple--it involves breathing into a device. The devise determines whether
or not you have asthma. If you have it, it's very possible that making use
of an inhaler (spelling??) containing medication will solve your problems.
I once dated a lady that had it and she would use the inhaler whenever she
had any sort of breathing difficulty. I believe that she also had to take
a pill each day but am not sure. She came down with lots of colds and
sinus infections--much more than normal.
