It's unusual for people to be deficient in only one vitamin. People on
a normal, reasonable sort of diet seldom if ever have real vitamin
deficiencies. I do know one fellow, however, who managed to get mild
scurvy by subsisting on macaroni and cheese. If you're deficient in
one vitamin, you're likely deficient in others.
It sounds, from the below, that you are in a stressful, demanding
situation. You say that you don't get enough sleep because you have to
work very long hours. Chronic sleep deficiency will make you feel
lousy and wear you out. The dark circles are probably due to this, and
many people have more acne when they are under stress.
What do you eat? It's pretty common for people who work like this to
subsist on junk food -- high in fat, sugar and salt -- and low in other
nutrients like vitamins. Do you eat a lot of fried goodies? Many
people find that high fat consumption aggravates their acne. Do you
eat a reasonable amount of fruit, vegetables and whole grains? The
healthiest diet consists mostly of these foods.

Well, it's best to eat a healthy diet, but it can't hurt to take an
ordinary sort of daily multivitamin, since improving your diet is
something many people find it hard to do, and the multivitamin is
better than nothing. You don't say where you live, but in North
America you can buy inexpensive multivitamins of this kind in
drugstores and supermarkets. Don't worry about "balancing" things --
your body will just excrete most of what it doesn't need.

It's common for there to be more pigment in a healed area. This is
more visible in some people than others.

Dettol is pretty irritating stuff. IIRC, it contains phenol, and is
usually used to disinfect hard surfaces as lysol or pinesol is used in
North America. Use rubbing alcohol or an inexpensive aftershave lotion
instead. Or wash your face with soap and water after you shave.

Acne. Sounds like you have a bad case.

No, it doesn't work that way. Pus forms locally in response to infection.
It consists mostly of white blood cells fighting the infection, dead
bacteria and other debris. But high stress and a bad diet aren't
helping at all: they may be making it harder for your bady to fight
off infection.

Shaving your head won't make your hair grow back thicker. It's a common
belief, though. Some of the effect is that most of hair will have cut,
rather than tapering ends, which can give an impression of greater stiffness
and thickness.
Hair growth defects can be due to vitamin deficiency, stress, or a wide
range of medical conditions, some serious. A few white hairs aren't
uncommon in people in their twenties.

Acne can be aggravated by shaving. Can you try growing out your beard
for a few months to see if it helps? If your acne scars are covered
by a beard, you may feel less self-conscious about them, too.
If you do decide to shave off your mustache, the skin underneath will
gradually get as brown as the rest of your face, as it's exposed to
the same amount of sunlight.
Darkening of the skin, overall or in particular patterns, can be a symptom
of some medical conditions. Or maybe you're getting more sun exposure
now that you're out of school?

It's far more important to get more sleep, get some exercise, eat a
healthy diet, than to put stuff on your hair and skin. Exposure to
sunlight may help your acne, too.

Sounds like your acne is decreasing. Some people continue to have
acne longer than others, but it's seldom as bad as you get older.

You have to improve your lifestyle -- get more sleep, less stress, better
diet, etc. You can really abuse your body when you are young, and most
students do, but you can't keep it up for years and years. And as you
get older, you can't get away with it.
Note, I'm not a doctor, but I've seen a lot of engineering students wear
themselves out like this. Some of the symptoms you describe, like your
skin getting darker overall, and your hair "whitening", could be indications
of more serious disease, so you should go to a doctor and get a check up.
You can get advice about the acne, too. If it were me, I'd try other
methods than accutane, first.
Good luck to you, and congratulations on your "cool job"!
