Flexeril is a tricyclic antidepressant which has been shown to have
some muscle relaxer effect. It is usually recommended for no more
than about 2-3 weeks.

There are other drugs which are effective in muscle relaxation,
including carisoprodol (Soma) and methocarbamol (Robaxin). Talk to
your doctor.
