They might clear out eventually. Use those drops according to the
directions, then wait several months and try them again, etc. It could
take a long, long time for your ears to clear though. Doctors use a
different kind of drop and a painful suction water-squirter that will
get the job done faster. I suggest going to an ear specialist for that,
but you don't have to. Complications from the drops doctors use are
fairly common from what I've read, including infection and ruptured ear
drums. I think I got an infection from them, or maybe just an allergic
reaction. Red, swollen outer ears that itched for two days. They
finally stopped itching on the third day after I scratched them. I
wonder if washing my ears after the doctor visit would have prevented
that.

Not too long ago, I read that sticking something (soft, I guess) in
your ears isn't as bad as some people say. Just be kind of gentle. I
wouldn't use a Q-tip, but I twist the end of a tissue and clean my ears
with that after I use drops. Never had a problem from that, unlike from
the doctor visit.

The plug of wax that the bulb squirters are supposed to release never
happened for me.
