Low csf pressure headache

A friend was recently diagnosed with a low csf pressure headache
although the original cause of it was not obvious. The doctor indicated
that it would take three months or so for the symptons to clear up.
After six weeks the headaches have not been so severe but she has had a
hearing problem as if " everyone was under water". That stopped over
the weekend but the headache returned with a vengeance. Today the
headache is not too bad again but she is experiencing bad dizziness.

Can anyone who has suffered from this condition or has knowledge of it
please tell us if this changing, and ebbing and flowing, of symptons is
a normal part of the recovery process?
