Re: undiagnosed please help



Have you had a traumatic event at any time in your past? A talking
therapist who is not specifically trained to treat PTSD will not help
you if that is your problem. You can probably get a referral at this
link to a trained therapist in your area. (Maybe not if you live in a
rural area.)

I disagree on one point:
Other kinds of therapists CAN help,
if they are capable and willing.

NO therapist should be UNABLE to treat these patients.

This is common fundamental knowledge,
in 2005.

It was not always the case.

For severe trauma, eg, 9.11, hurricanes, loss of limb, etc.
yes, a Specialist in PTSD is likely a BETTER choice.

NO licenced therapist in 2005 should be unable
to handle most issues, in my opinion.
