Weird fevers

Hi,
I am a 34 year old. I sometimes get high fevers that last a day. By the
next day they are gone. During these fevers I have flu like symptoms.
(Aches chills, etc) The symptoms last a few hours. The fever stays all
day but is gone by the next day. This seems to happen every thre
emonths or so.
Last year I asked to be refered to an infectious disease doctor. She
said because of my age they were worried about lymphoma. I had a
gallium scan that showed everythign normal except a spot near my
diaghphram with "significant gallium uptake". I had a follow up chest
ct scan that showed everything normal. She said not to worry about it.
I had repeated blood tests about 4 times. I had no histoplasmosis. When
I first got sick my c-reactive protein was high. but it went back to
normal. I decided not to worry about it.
I had sinus problems for three weeks last month and went to the doctor.
Was put on zithromax. Finished it and sinus problems went away. A week
later woke up with a low grade fever. (99-100) Had chills and
everythign like before. Went to the doctor and he put me on Septra.
Fever automatically was gone next day as countless times last year
around this time. Two weeks latter (which was yesterday) Started having
chills at work and feeling terrible. Went to the doctor and temp was
102.6. Put me on tamaflu. (Even though I had the flumist vaccine). This
morning temp is 97.8 and no symptoms.
I know you cant diagnose over the internet but I live in a small town
and am wondering if there are tests I should be asking for? Someone I
work with has mono. I have had it before and the doctor told me
yesterday it was hard to get mono twice. She had a LDH test or
somethign that tests for lymphoma but I have never had that. SHould I
ask for it?
Everyone at work notices I get sick alot. Are there tests I can ask for
to determine why? I have had the basic cbc, metabolic profile, ebstein
bar, c reactive protein, cytolomegalo virus, HIV, Rocky Mountain Spoted
fever, histoplasmosis last year. But it has been a year since those
tests.
I really appreciate any direction you can point me to.
