Since most phychotic people dont reproduce, how can their condition

the same logic applies to homosexuality? I am no genetic expert, just a
layman!

Hello,
Recessive traits can be carried in a person's genes without appearing in
that person. A person could have a recessive gene for homosexuality but
NOT be a homosexual. However, if both parents had recessive genes for
homosexuality--they may have a child that was a homosexual. I don't know
whether or not there are genes for homosexuality and psychosis. The
homosexuals are worried that if such a gene is found that parents might
abort any unborn babies that have the gene.
I doubt that there is a gene for psychosis but it's my guess that there is
a gene for homosexuality. I once heard a homosexual state on a television
show that he knew that he was a homosexual when he was a very small child.
Other homosexuals have said the same thing.
