Hi there, I sprained my ankle about 5 weeks ago.
The pain has all but subsided and I have full range of motion with no
instability, however I still have a small amount of swelling over the
injury site. Should I see a doctor about this or is it normal for the
swelling to hang around for awhile?.

Thanks

Sniper,
I once had surgery on my nose as a result of having a deviated septom
(spelling??). After about 5 weeks, I still had some swelling. I returned
to the doctor and he told me not to worry about it. He was correct. After
about two more weeks, the swelling finally went away. I am not a doctor.
