Hi to anyone out there! In Aug. I had my gallbladder removed after
several attacks. Was fine until about Oct. I had an attack similar to
my gallbladder. Rather than lasting one day it went on for several
days, I finally went to ER they did x-rays and ct scan because I also
had blood in urine and said I was constipated. After two more days pain
went away. On Nov 14 I started getting this attack again, by that Fri
went to ER again. Again, I had blood in urine along with the upper
right quadrant pain. Did all the same test as previous month and this
time said it could be kidney stone, sent me on my way. Pain was still
there on mon. went to another ER, they only did CT scan and blood work
and found my liver enzymes were abnormal and told me to schedule a hida
scan, that wouldn't be until the 29th. This past Wed. the pain got so
severe I was crying, went to ER again they ran the blood work and did
x-rays and my liver enzymes were sky high and my biibrium was at a 5.
Told me to see my family dr as soon as possible. Well by the day after
thanksgiving I couldn't stand the pain anymore and went back to ER.
They admitted me to hospital this time, saying I had stone caught in my
common bile duct. This past sunday I had a ERCP I believe with a
sphincter thingy(sorry), things went great left the hospital late Sun.
night. Today I am having very slight pains in my upper right quadrant
that seem to come and go. They aren't no where as near as to what they
were, but they kinda make me jump a little. Has anyone had this
procedure and what types of symptoms have they had afterwards?? Also, a
note I'm not sure that it matters, but my stools have a very bad smell
to them and when I do have a bowl movement it is very little but is
stiff not loose. My diet has been very light and no fats.
